How do I book?
For customized vacation planning and/or customized private walking tours please fill out the Contact Us form.
Bookings for published private guided walking tours can be made on the website using our online reservation service.
Are prices per person or per tour?
Prices listed on the website for walking tours are priced per tour, but may include a per person price for entrance fees and activities.
Larger groups can be accommodated with a different per person pricing.
Do you provide online payment options?
Yes. Payment can be accepted completely online.
When are you available?
When you select the Book Your Tour button, you will see our most up to date availability.
If your date is not available, please check back as we do make updates frequently.
What’s included?
Your tour includes pre-tour consultation with a licensed, professional guide, and the services of that guide for the full duration of your tour.
Items that are not included in the tour price: the cost of meals, snacks, beverages, souvenirs, transportation costs, and optional gratuities for
your guide.
The inclusion/exclusion of entrance fees will be determined at the pretour consultation.
Can I cancel?
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, all scheduled tours may be cancelled up to and including the day of the tour.
Please do not come on a tour if you or any member of your group is feeling ill.
Every effort will be made to reschedule your tour, but if that is not possible you will receive a full refund.
Once a tour has begun and/or ended, no refund will be available.
What should I wear?
All tours are walking tours, so comfortable, well supported footwear is essential.
Dress for comfort and the season as we will be both inside and outside during the tour.
Weather?
Since our tours are both indoors and outdoors, we operate rain or shine.
Cancellations and rescheduling are only permitted when weather causes a safety concern.
What does it mean to be a licensed tour guide?
All sightseeing tour guides are required by DC law to obtain a professional license.
Some tour companies are challenging this law, and others employ drivers who are not required to have a guiding license.
We only hire experienced and professional licensed guides.
Do you offer public tours?
All tours are private tours, so it will be only you and your group on the tour.
